The high-grip, 400-NBS rubber outer sole on the etnies Jameson 2 Eco was constructed out of old car tires and rubber gloves, and the shoelaces are made out of recycled PET bottles. The adhesive holding the shoes together is water-based.
Of course, functionality and skate performance didn't take a backseat to eco-friendly production methods in the making of the etnies Jameson 2 Eco. A seamless toe cap, metal shoelace eyelets and just the right amount of padding provide wearable functionality.
